Serious AI work needs evidence and a way back

The useful trust question is not whether an AI sounds confident. It is whether the work leaves enough evidence to understand what happened, judge the result, and recover when reality disagrees.

Current Superboard Activity view preserving attributed changes and the evidence needed to inspect what happened.
01

Activity shows the attributable record; Pulse shows what matters now.

02

Source evidence and explicit uncertainty are stronger than confident prose.

03

Recovery turns a mistake from permanent loss into a manageable operating event.

An answer is not yet operating truth

A generated answer may be useful, but serious work also needs its source, scope, owner, current status, and relationship to the rest of the mission. Otherwise a polished artifact can outlive the assumption that produced it.

The Card Room keeps the artifact beside Chat, Pulse, and Activity so the result remains connected to its assignment and history. The human Owner still judges whether the evidence is sufficient, whether the result fits the mission, and whether a consequential action should proceed.

Available today

Available today: attribution, Activity, and bounded recovery

Current Superboard records meaningful Board changes in Activity, distinguishes current Pulse from chronological history, attributes human and Ava work, and offers Undo or Removed Items for supported actions. Certain interrupted or conflicted writes preserve recovery copies.

Not every action has Undo, and Superboard does not currently provide universal point-in-time rollback. The visible control is the source of truth.

Unknown outcomes need their own state

External systems can time out after accepting a request. A send, purchase, deployment, or update may have happened even when the caller did not receive confirmation. Retrying blindly can duplicate the real-world effect.

The safe pattern is to record the attempt, preserve the idempotency evidence, check the destination, and retry only after the result is known. When the consequence matters and the outcome remains unknown, the Owner decides whether to wait, investigate, reverse, or escalate.

Direction

Direction: evidence follows Ava beyond the Board

As Ava works through connectors, browsers, cloud runtimes, and specialist workers, the Card remains the durable home for the assignment, evidence, resulting artifact, decision, and recovery state.

That governed external execution is Direction. Current Superboard does not run a general laptop-closed workforce.
