Superboard vs. Microsoft 365: suite or operating picture?
Microsoft 365 is a broad, mature suite for documents, communication, storage, and organizational work. Superboard is one focused command center designed to connect a mission, its work, judgment, and AI help.

Choose Microsoft 365 for a mature organization-wide productivity suite.
The Owner keeps the mission, constraints, consequential decisions, and authority outside current supported actions. Choose Superboard when one initiative needs a coherent operating picture and AI Co-owner.
Superboard intends to connect with established suites, not pretend their breadth can be replaced today. Next is real-time small-team collaboration. Direction includes direct integration, production multi-agent work, cross-Board decision ranking, and broader point-in-time rollback.

What Microsoft 365 does especially well
Microsoft 365 is especially strong for enterprise documents, email, meetings, file storage, administration, identity, collaboration, and a broad Copilot layer.
- Your organization needs an established productivity and administration suite.
- Office file compatibility and mature collaboration are required.
- Email, meetings, identity, and compliance tooling are central.
What Superboard organizes differently
Microsoft 365 provides a broad set of capable services for documents, email, meetings, storage, identity, administration, and AI. Superboard does not recreate that breadth. It gives one initiative a visible operating picture across the work those services contain.
A launch can continue using Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint while a Superboard Board shows the mission, commitments, decisions, current state, and history. Current Superboard has no general Microsoft 365 integration, so files or links enter only through supported product paths.
Keep the product boundary clear
The Owner keeps the mission, its constraints, every consequential decision, and authority outside Superboard’s current supported actions. Use this memory aid: people together is Next—real-time small-team collaboration. Systems working more broadly is Direction—direct integration, production multi-agent work, cross-Board decision ranking, and broader point-in-time rollback. Neither is available today.
When to choose Microsoft 365
- Your organization needs an established productivity and administration suite.

When to choose Superboard

- The immediate need is a coherent mission picture, not another organization-wide productivity suite.
